Worship Director
Royal Gorge Vineyard is seeking a passionate, Spirit-filled Worship Leader to help cultivate a culture of worship where people genuinely encounter the presence of God. We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves His Church, and desires to lead people into authentic, Spirit-led worship rather than simply perform music.
This position begins as a paid monthly stipend (a few hundred dollars per month, depending on experience and qualifications), with significant potential to grow into a part-time or full-time Worship Pastor/Worship Director position as our church continues to grow. The right person will become part of our leadership team and help shape the spiritual culture and direction of our church.
Responsibilities
- Lead worship during our Sunday gathering (10:45 AM).
- Plan worship sets in partnership with the Lead Pastor.
- Recruit, disciple, and develop worship team volunteers.
- Help cultivate a culture of prayer, worship, and ministry to the Holy Spirit.
- Participate in leadership meetings and invest in the life of the church.
- Help create environments where people can encounter God's presence.
Who We're Looking For
- Has a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus.
- Is humble, teachable, dependable, and emotionally healthy.
- Aligns with the theology, values, and ministry philosophy of the Vineyard movement.
- Believes the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today and is comfortable creating space for Spirit-led ministry.
- Has experience leading congregational worship.
- Can lead vocally while playing guitar or piano (preferred).
- Loves developing people as much as leading music.
- Desires to become an active part of the Royal Gorge Vineyard family—not simply fill a Sunday role.
Compensation
This position begins as a paid monthly stipend, with compensation based on experience and qualifications. As the church grows, there is significant opportunity for this role to expand into a part-time or full-time ministry position, with the potential to develop into a pastoral role.
